State Street Launches Three Muni Bond ETFs
State Street Global Advisors is rolling out exchange traded funds that track the municipal bond market.
The ETFs are SPDR Lehman Short Term Municipal Bond, (SHM) SPDR Lehman California Municipal Bond (CXA) and SPDR Lehman New York Municipal Bond. (INY)
Diabetes Drug Wins New Uses
The Food and Drug Administration approved Merck & Co.'s diabetes drug Januvia for use in new combinations with other medicines, but the company also added information to the drug's label about reports of serious allergic reactions among some who have taken it.
